TODOS CONTRA EL DENGUE 2024

 

Este vídeo constituye un recurso a través del cual se busca informar y prevenir a toda la comunidad educativa sobre la importancia de mitigar el riesgo de contraer dengue. En el video se explica qué es el dengue, cómo se transmite, cuáles son los síntomas, cómo es el mosquito trasmisor, cuál es su ciclo de vida, por qué pica, dónde pone los huevos y cómo podemos prevenir o reducir el riesgo de contraer dengue.

This video constitutes a resource through which we seek to inform and warn the entire educational community about the importance of mitigating the risk of contracting dengue. The video explains what dengue is, how it is transmitted, what the symptoms are, what the transmitting mosquito is like, what its life cycle is, why it bites, where it lays its eggs and how we can prevent or reduce the risk of contracting it. dengue.

World Water Day 2024

EL área de ciencias naturales y educación ambiental se complace en invitarlos a participar de una celebración muy importante, el día mundial del agua, y a reflexionar en torno al lema establecido por la ONU para el presente año (2024): Agua para la paz. Los invitamos observar el material elaborado por el área de artística en colaboración con el área de inglés y con el área de ciencias naturales y a escribir una frase corta, en inglés, sobre la importancia del agua para la paz y para la vida (escriba también el nombre completo y el grado). 

The area of natural sciences and environmental education is pleased to invite you to participate in a very important celebration, World Water Day, and reflect on the motto established by the ONU for the current year (2024): Water for peace. Dìa de la ciencia 2023

El dìa de la ciencia constituye un espacio en el que los estudiantes exponen proyectos relacionados con las ciencias naturales, con la tecnologìa y con el medio ambiente. Proyectos a travès de los cuales se explican conceptos propios del conocimiento cientìfico y se utilizan. en la mayorìa de los casos, residuos sòlidos que se generan en la instituciòn educativa.

Science Day is a space in which students present projects related to natural sciences, technology and the environment. Projects through which concepts of scientific knowledge are explained and used. In most cases, solid waste that is generated in the educational institution.

Experiment 2. Atomic cloud

En la realización de este experimento, denominado nube atómica, se utilizaron los siguientes sustancias: agua, agua destilada, glicerina, hielo seco y jabón líquido.

Experiment 1. Lava lamp

En la realización de este experimento, denominado lámpara de lava, se utilizaron las siguientes sustancias: aceite, colorante, agua y pasta efervescente.

Practicas que promueven el maltrato animal

 

En este trabajo se describen algunas prácticas de tipo cultural a través de las cuales se promueve el maltrato animal. Mediante esta actividad se busca generar conciencia sobre la importancia de respetar y cuidar a todos los seres vivos.

This work describes some cultural practices through which animal abuse is promoted. Through this activity we seek to raise awareness about the importance of respecting and caring for all living beings.

Animales Colombianos en peligro de extinción

En este trabajo se describen algunas característitcas generales sobre ciertos animales que habitan en el territorio Colombiano y, que se encuentran en peligro de extinción. Se busca generar conciencia sobre la importancia de conocer, respetar y cuidar a todos los seres vivos. 

In this work, some general characteristics of certain animals that live in Colombian territory and that are in danger of extinction are described. It seeks to raise awareness about the importance of knowing, respecting and caring for all living beings.

World Water Day

 

Una de las actividades realizadas durante la celebración del día del agua consistió en elaborar una revista a partir de una seri de Poster en los que los estudiantes plasmaron dibujos y mensajes alusivos al día del agua. Esta actividad se realizó en transversalización con la asignatura de artística e inglés.

One of the activities carried out during the celebration of Water Day consisted of creating a magazine based on a series of Posters in which the students captured drawings and messages alluding to Water Day. This activity was carried out in transversalization with the subject of art and English.

Magazine on animals in danger of extinction (2022)

 

“Por una buena causa” es un trabajo de consulta realizado por Valentina Millán, estudiante de la Institución Educativa Provenza, en el que se presentan, a manera de revista, algunas especies del reino animal que se encuentran en peligro de extinción. Este trabajo es una estrategia de transversalización entre las áreas de ciencias naturales: química e inglés y una invitación a cuidar, a proteger y a conectar con todos los seres de la naturaleza.

"For a good cause" is a consultation work carried out by Valentina Millán, a student at the Provenza Educational Institution, in which some species of the animal kingdom that are in danger of extinction are presented, as a magazine. This work is a cross-cutting strategy between the areas of natural sciences: chemistry and English and an invitation to care, protect and connect with all the beings of nature.
